I have no done all my sound, sound effects, colour, and titles for my film. I am going to come back to it was fresh eyes so that I can polish it further.
Recently I have come up with five ideas for my short film. In my presentation I further developed three of these five ideas. I included lots of pictures which inspired me alongside some photographers and film directors. I have now presented to my class last week, and the feedback from my class was very positive with the majority of them really liking my second idea about a homeless man and a blind home owner. They also really liked my third idea however many of them said to develop it further and give a more clear cut narrative and plot. The film has a very clean look to it with not many complex shots or ground breaking CGI it is still very practical and doable for a small film crew. The clever use of shot types makes this one location feel a lot bigger than it is. One of my favourite shots ...
BIFA (British Independent Film Awards) is an internationally renowned organisation that celebrates, promotes, and supports independent filmmaking and filmmakers in the UK. Founded in 1998, BIFA has championed the best and most innovative independently funded British filmmaking for over 20 years, working at the heart of the industry to nurture emerging talent, promote fair practice, and develop a broader, more inclusive audience for British independent film. We are driving a British independent film revival, harnessing the power of British creativity to change lives through independent film. Many awards are given to films which are experimental and something unusual, these types of films would never be produced by large Hollywood production companies as they would not appeal to the large audience masses, meaning less profit.
