The short 6 minute film is about an uptight getaway driver waiting outside a bank robbery has three nerve shredding minutes to get through before his crew returns. All he has to do is focus.

Personally I love the video, I love the clean look it has to it and how clever it is with making it seem like it has a much larger budget than it actually has. One example is the clever sound design for example the opening 5 seconds is a behind the stage sound which sets up the context of the setting and what is going on without having to use any extras or any other actors.

The film has a very clean look to it with not many complex shots or ground breaking CGI it is still very practical and doable for a small film crew. The clever use of shot types makes this one location feel a lot bigger than it is. One of my favourite shots in the film is the dolly zoom across the car hood into Jack Doolan.

I do also feel like this film is a very actor driven performance as he carries the narrative with little to no dialogue and all the empishes is on him from the audiences and nothing to distract their viewing from him so every moment from Jack Doolan has to keep the audience intrigued.

Recently I have come up with five ideas for my short film. In my presentation I further developed three of these five ideas. I included lots of pictures which inspired me alongside some photographers and film directors. I have now presented to my class last week, and the feedback from my class was very positive with the majority of them really liking my second idea about a homeless man and a blind home owner.   The 95th Academy Awards was a ceremony held by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences on March 12, 2023, at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles. It honored films released in 2022. One film in particular,  swept the floor winning 7 oscars and breaking multiple records  Everything Everywhere All at Once.  Michelle Yeoh became the first Asian woman to win best actress, as Everything Everywhere All at Once dominated at the Oscars. The dazzling multiverse adventure won seven awards including best picture, director and original screenplay. Aft  Yeoh accepted her  award  she stated,"For all the little boys and girls who look like me watching tonight, this is a beacon of hope and possibilities.
