Watching the Introduction to The story of film an odyssey.

Yesterday we watched the opening of The Story Film an Odyssey, I really enjoyed the documentary and liked how the whole of the film history was given in a visual representation as before we were just reading about it. I feel it really helped me understand all the events in a conrological order as I prefer seining things visually. 

I also liked how we saw all the early cameras, locations and cinemas now and it gave me a better understanding of how everything worked e.g the moving studio which rotated and had different panels to let light in, it was called The Black Maria, it was owned by Thomas Edison's film production studio in West Orange, New Jersey. This was the worlds first film studio.

Recently I have come up with five ideas for my short film. In my presentation I further developed three of these five ideas. I included lots of pictures which inspired me alongside some photographers and film directors. I have now presented to my class last week, and the feedback from my class was very positive with the majority of them really liking my second idea about a homeless man and a blind home owner.   The 95th Academy Awards was a ceremony held by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences on March 12, 2023, at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles. It honored films released in 2022. One film in particular,  swept the floor winning 7 oscars and breaking multiple records  Everything Everywhere All at Once.  Michelle Yeoh became the first Asian woman to win best actress, as Everything Everywhere All at Once dominated at the Oscars. The dazzling multiverse adventure won seven awards including best picture, director and original screenplay. Aft  Yeoh accepted her  award  she stated,"For all the little boys and girls who look like me watching tonight, this is a beacon of hope and possibilities.
